For the record, we didn't actually find the chanterelles, Romaric bought them. We did find, however, large handful of Deceivers, some puffballs, some False Chanterelles, four shaggy inkcaps, and two tasty field mushrooms found in front of Romaric's flat. I forget what Romaric said the last two were, exactly, but he was so sure of his identification that we promptly ate them on the spot.

The last two were field mushrooms, which are excellent mushrooms which you can eat in salads as well.
